Executive Search companies are all in the same boat: they are trying to take control over the factors that increase engagement in their recruitment processes. But, the question is; how to get structured, change behaviour and find a fruitful dialog?

Recruitment process priorities


Sometimes recruitment processes can go not as fast as wished or planned, due to also factors that you cannot control. In bigger companies / organizations / groups, the feeling that no one else in the organization prioritizes their time to get the recruitment processes spinning, can easily become too overwhelming. At worst, this will cause you losing an important candidate or even client.

Trying to find a solution


How do we get companies more involved in recruiting? During a workshop with RecPro last week, some ideas and solutions were brought up. To begin with, it is helpful to maintain expectations; What is the next step in the process? What is your next goal? Who has the ball in their hands and why? These questions can help you to structure and make tasks clear. Secondly, priorities should be clarified by providing ongoing insights into reality, keeping all involved parties informed about the process, progress and goals. It is all about communicating and not hiding facts or small details. Finally, one should celebrate wins – also the small ones. Try to focus on them and remember to reward yourself and your team.
